Posted by I got a language problem recently with my Jenkins server. My laptop is configured in English, my wen browser too but I have some locales configured in French. In some websites, it detects my locales and it switches to French or sometimes when the translation doesn’t exist in a mix.
When I get a problem, it’s often easier to make research with English keywords, so I wanted to force my Jenkins in English.
Go to Manage Jenkins, Manage Plugins and install the plugin Locale.
Go to Manage Jenkins again, Configure System and look for Locale. In Default Language put en, check Ignore browser preference and force this language to all users and save.
Jenkins is now running in English for you and all your users 🙂
